Bosch Electronic Service has decades of experience in repairing vehicle electronics. We started as a factory service for Blaupunkt radios and navigation systems, today we also repair complex control units for various applications in the automotive industry.
Additionally, at Bosch Electronic Service we repair devices for the most diverse vehicle manufacturers, including BMW, VW, Ford, Mercedes as well as Porsche and consequently we can offer services in manufacturer quality.

  • During the repair works, we use comprehensive testing technology.
    Consequently we are able to provide comprehensive testing and an in-depth analysis of infotainment systems, such as radios, screens, navigation systems, operating elements, audio systems and DVD players for a host of buses, coaches and other commercial vehicles. In our test towers, we simulate all situations in which the device must work in everyday life, e.g. different temperatures or input signals.
  • In the event of irreparable components, we can often offer you a replacement unit.
  • We only perform repairs with original parts.

Incidentally: In the event of a flat rate repair or replacement, we offer a warranty on the entire device, not only on the repaired fault.

Bosch offers infotainment systems, such as radios, navigation systems or audio systems for coaches, inter-city, city and mini buses. For decades Bosch has been an OEM for commercial vehicles featuring professional system solutions. We boost convenience and safety thanks to intelligent systems. Bosch audio and video systems feature the most recent technology. Our multimedia system with its high-performance infotainment systems and adjustable microphones offers drivers and passengers more functionality to make modern travelling possible. Our high-performance systems, including camera or audio systems, have also been installed in other commercial vehicles, such as trucks.

Which kind of faults may occur in commercial vehicles' audio and video systems? 

In most cases, you can identify external faults by some form of mechanical defects, such as missing buttons and damaged front trims. Most electronic faults become evident from audible irregularities, such as sporadic radio signal or permanent signal noise.

If you identify such a defect, we can offer you various services to eliminate the issue:

  1. Repairs at a flat rate or cost estimates depending on the device and offer.
  2. Replacement with a new device after having returned the faulty device including transferring device data to avoid recalibration.
  3. Advance exchange with a new device. Receive a new device and later send the damaged part back to us. In this case, it is unfortunately not possible to transfer the data beforehand.

Our engineers are characterized by many years of experience in repairing vehicle electronics. Our service is based on conventional standards and directives, e.g. IPC-7711 or IPC-7721.
